The Responsible Animal Fiber (RAF) program covers standards developed by Textile Exchange for animal-derived fibers. It includes the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS), and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS).RWS, RMS, and RAS are standards that address animal welfare, the health of the land used for grazing, and sustainable land management practices. These standards ensure that the fibers originate from farms with progressive land management approaches and that animal welfare is respected in accordance with the Five Freedoms.
